Claes Feder, the architect behind the Kungsholm of 1966, presented this artist's impression of the new ship in 1963/64. |
The Vision of 2007 |

| Early in 2007 Claes Feder made this "new" design for the Kungsholm. His vision was to turn the ship into a vintage cruise ship for the upscale cruise market. For people who love Jaguars and Mercedes from the 1940's. The extra cabins that P&O added would be removed, and several cabins on lower decks would be merged to facilitate cabins with sitting rooms. The black hull with a golden stripe gives the ship a sleek elegant exterior. The project name is "Stella Maris". |
