Mona Lisa, ex Kungsholm, in Vancouver

Mr Gerry Dempsey, Director Procurement, of VANOC, the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, has informed us that the Mona Lisa was chartered from Leonardo Shipping for use as accommodations for the VANOC workforce during the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. The Mona Lisa arrived in January.

"Her charter here was for 56 days for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games. At the peak she had over 1250 games workers but she currently is housing just over 750. She is scheduled to leave for Kiel Germany at noon PST on March 23."
